My 'Zocchi EXR Pro has a air "preload" on it and it worked great w/o a single refill for several months. Then I upgraded my fork with a 100% air fork ('Zocchi Z-150 SL FreeRide) and I have had to boost the air in it twice in the last couple of months. It's not the preload though....
