I had pretty much the same Butler (slightly different decals but same frame). I corresponded with the shop and they did indeed confirm that Geoffrey and Claude were brothers. They also said that Cliff Shrubb built most of their bikes in the late 60s/early 70s.

Gorgeous bike, btw.
