I use them for commuting, but nothing that has me leaning hard into a curve with a cliff on the outside.
Some of my rides are not unlike that though there is usually a guard rail.
What I'm hearing is these are good tires for an alternate bike but maybe not your main one. As I only have one road bike maybe I should keep looking.
