I love sailing the Laser, but it's a workout, and no room for friends. I enjoyed taking friends out on my parent's O'Day 22. Great little boat for sailing the lake with friends. Easy enough to sail that I can single hand it while the rest of my useless crew sit around drinking. Not nearly as much fun to sail as the Laser though, and much slower.

Ideally I'd get a fast 22' racer, like a J22, but they're expensive, like $10k used expensive for not great ones.
