Yep, I find myself guilty of cross chaining quite often, but not for any long durations. I feel really silly about it too, since I used to be quite aware of it in the mtb days. Still trying to get used to the double though, need to do alot more shifting when involving the chainrings.

Just got back from my first "real" ride, a nice "little" 15 miler. Got my ass kicked on an uphill, but toughed it out. I have ALOT of work ahead of me

oh, and no worries, stem is staying put for now. Way too early to make any adjustments. for now I want to concentrate on getting the feel of just riding it.
