I'll be honest, it is not difficult at all to do, and I really don't know what all the fuss is about. Take a broken or one you don't need apart just to get a feel before tearing the one on your daily rider apart. It does not take very long and you end up with a nice spinning and sounding freewheel. I think I do it just for fun.
