With regards to flipping the stem. Maybe I'm missing something but it appears the stem angle is due to the angle of the steerer tube and not any built in angle of the stem itself. Wouldn't flipping *that* stem put it right back in the same position, just upside down?
That stem has some rise to it. Flipping it would drop the bars a few cm.
