Thanks for all the advice. I think I am going to leave this one alone. I emailed the dude, asked about the issue of lubrication, and did give him a lower offer. He flat out attempted to call me an idiot, and said that if I had "any experience" I wouldn't question his deal and that the fact that I asked him anything means I have "no experience".
