I use a PB superflash in back and a PB blaze 2 watt in front. The blaze is great, especially if you need to actually see the road on your ride. The only thing I don't like about the superflash is it craps out if you ride multiple days in the rain and it doesn't have a chance to dry out. Though when it does dry out it works again. You can find good deals on both on ebay.
I have never had this issue, and I used to ride in the rain all the time.
