That's known project that's been in the works a while. Pete *****r is a real good guy and has been a key stakeholder in development of the Beacon Hill Plan in cooperation with the FTTRC. He's all for trail access (that's one of the selling points he wants to highlight, is the developments proximity to the trail network) and he's been helpful in providing easement through/near to help preserve as much of the original route of one trail as possible. He also spoke up at the Co. Commissioners meeting recently in favor of getting the Beacon properties bumped up on the Conservation Futures list (a handful of us went and gave public testimony). But it was an uphill battle with some very large parcels being very worthy acquisitions higher on the list (Knight's Lake, etc.).
