50's to start the commute today...and then rode right into the cold front that was blowing in. I could feel the temp drop by 10-15 degrees. The northern wind - which was a headwind for me - kicked in along with some drizzle and light rain. Wind got stronger throughout the day, so thankfully I had a tailwind for part of the ride home.

Also - I have incorporated an errand or two into my commutes to or from work this week to avoid driving. Figure that I'm basically riding right by where I need to go, so why not just pull over and stuff some more things into my panniers? Definitely a value add to commuting by bike...
