Aside from being transfixed by the sound coming off his fingers, I'll never, ever forget standing right behind him and looking down over his shoulder while he caressed his beautiful music out of that Telecaster. It was a defining moment - I was mesmerized.

I saw George in his "50 States in 50 days" tour while a student at Florida State. Made sense he would hit Tallahassee instead of going south on the peninsula for that tour. It was at a small auditorum on campus. George and his boys traveled around on that tour in a Checker cab. Great concert, I was in the second row.
