I started my ride at 3pm from my home near downtown L.A. and rode into Griffith Park, jumped the mainenance road gate and rode all the way up to the water tank, cut across and up to Griffith Observatory, and down past the Greek Theater back to my home. There were too many tourists up at the observatory today and on top of that the observatory is still under major renovation so people were scrambling for parking spaces
. I figured most were tourists because they were all taking pics of the nearby Hollywood sign. I rode my Steamroller fixed gear for this ride.....first time on a fixed up to the observatory......fun, but not too friendly on your knees.
