Slept in a bit this morning - I got up at 6 to get ready, considered the fact that I had only had 4-5 hours sleep, and sent an e-mail to the office to let them know I'd be getting in sometime mid-morning (we normally start around 8). I work in a pretty casual office environmet at the moment, so that is a nice bonus.

The sun was in full blue sky by the time I got on the bike at 9:30, and the air was about 19F. It felt weird not riding in the dark with lights, and I kind of missed the solitude and darkness of the early morning ride.

I did take in the sight of the snowy peaks surrounding the valley, which I normally cannot see unless the moon is really bright.
