Torque (moment) is measured in generic units of F*L (force [times] perpendicular lever length). So units of [foot pounds] would be abbreviated as Ft.*lbs. (a dot would be preferable...). I'm not even sure what ft/lb would be... Sorry, that's just one of my pet peeves.
