I was walking with my racewalk group from the Y. We had the oldest participants in the race: an 88-year-old-man and an 86 year-old woman (both did their first half marathons when they were 81). I was walking with the man and he started getting leg and back cramps and ended up dropping out around mile 8. The 86-year-old lady finished 15 minutes ahead of me, she's pretty hard core.
