I got some26 x 1.75's which are GREAT or actually perfect for what she will be using it for. It has all the original stickers which say 18"/46cm. The geometry of the bike is very sleek and this will NOT be her comfort bike as she has one of those already, which we built up last year. She is claiming to be closer than to 5'2" but you know how that goes.
I cleaned the bike up pretty nicely today and put the new chain and a tire/tube one. I foolishly bought schrader valve tubes because I said, "there is no way they are presta." I was wrong. I happened to have a presta in the drawer at home, but I'll have to go back out tomorrow and pick up a couple more presta tubes.
On a side note, the bike is absolutely beautiful when all clean and shiny. The color is not served justice with any pictures I am capable of taking. I will post some more when she is finished though.
