I'd like to hear an answer to the question that you disingenuously claim is insulting: Why do tea party activists and other conservatives have a problem with government funds going to climate protecting energy programs, while they seem to have no problem with much larger amounts going to a handful of multinational petrol corporations and a couple large agribusinesses?
Since jobs are such a big issue, does it make more sense for government to support start-up alternative energy companies, or to support big corporations that spend much of the money overseas?
