I am looking at buying a set of V brakes and saw Avid Single Digit 7s at one retailer. They have a higher price for the front bake than the rear. I always thought Vs and cantis were the same front and rear and just needed the pads swapping round. I can't see any difference between the two in the description.

Is there any difference? Can I buy 2 rears and just change the pads on the front one?
