cycling is very good for lowering blood pressure. i've taken it before a ride and then immediately after a ride and then after i have completely relaxed and rested, about an hour after. the after ride measure is high but the after rest measure is much lower than normal resting measures. it also stays down for a long time after a good long ride. I've had the low blood pressure last for 3 days.
