Just got my derailuers adjusted by Performance last night. Sure it is something I should be able to do myself but I don't know how and haven't had the patience to properly learn. Anyhow they were $19 for the pair, the LBS wanted $55....so for me it was a no brainer. I figure if the adjustment doesn't go right then I will take it back and they can either make it right or refund the difference.
If that's your preference, fine....but I suspect if you learn it yourself (it's not really that hard) you could do this in 5 minutes and save yourself not only the money but also the time/hassle to take your bike there and back.
