I prefer the 105s. The spring tension is much stronger and more adjustable. At the highest spring tension on the old design, I could still clip out a little too easy. The newer 105s, at their lowest tension are nearly as tight as the old ones at their highest tension. I do like the larger platform and metal plates, too.
