I thought the taller HT option of the current Madone line would have been enough. I hadn't realised that the wheelbase was such a factor. The roubaix has a 13mm longer wheelbase than the same sized (49) tarmac. Is that a significant? I guess so. The HT has a 25mm difference.
What I find interesting is the r&d they seem to be putting in or maybe I'm just falling for the
PR.
It will be good to have choices in this segment - they're far more suited to real world applications.
