According to that 'question' he 'restored' it? I thought a restoration meant you at least tried to stay at least period correct. It does look like a nice bike, probably $300 to $400 any day around here but it looks to me like he's used the cheapest gumwall tires, those annoying SR pedals that won't stay upright, a modern saddle, and he didn't even bother to clean off those tape stains on the left chainstay when he detailed it. If your going to ask crazy money, then make it perfect, 100% minty new again. I get the impression that some people just don't see details. I went to look at an 80's Trek that was in the paper here last week, it said mint condition, never ridden. They failed to say its been stored in the shed with a leaky roof for 20 or so years. The frame had freeze splits in it.
