Shimano made both, measure the width of the shell before you start turning something the wrong direction: if it's 70mm then the RH cup unscrews CCW. I wouldn't assume "Italian" on a bike from this era, since some of the Italian industry was switching to BSC BB shells: I'd be surprised if Colnago was an early adopter, but you never know...til you know.
