Sweet, I'm not alone. Like others said this issue kept me for committing to this daily until I took the time and spent the money to get the right gear to sort myself out. In the cold I ride in my eVent waterproof and no matter how breathable these things say they are you will sweat! Let alone the cold snap where I layer up so winter or summer I sweat plenty even on my short 5k commute.

Out of curiosity I went for cycle shop base layers and all the proper geeky stuff in as large a size as possible to still wear like a t-shirt. Wear these now, wash face, paper towel body, little Lynx if need be, and a fresh t. 6months, no complaints.
