Edit: After looking at it more, I see it's not even close to the Cambio Roubaix. The rod isn't connected to the quick release. the derailleur provides the chain tension. Please enlighten me !
The pulley is on a spring and moves up and down to keep tension. Nice in theory, but I have yet to have it shift while pedaling. More pictures here.
