Yes. I rode today for about 1 1/2 hours non-stop wearing a lycra bib short with decent padded chamois, and it felt a bit hard at times, but my butt was not sore at all after the ride. The most bothersome thing about it is that the combination of the slippery material of the short and the hard slick surface of the saddle had me sliding around a lot on it. It's certainly more comfortable than my Brooks Pro was when I first got it. That said, IDK if I'd want to ride it on a century.
Interesting. I have been looking for a new saddle, been thinking about the Spyder, just for the hell of it. My eye is mainly on a Toupe, though, as I have heard a ton of good things about it. I feel like I would like the Spyder, but the webbing makes me nervous.
