I have always known he was vegetarian because he told me many times. Today I told him I have been vegan for 3 weeks and he said he didn't think that was a good idea because "you need some meat". wut. I asked him how comes he thinks that since he is vegetarian and he told me that even as a vegetarian, he eats fish and chicken and other white meat.
