Roger that. Many Trek customers have reported that using this saddle is like sitting on the business end of a splitting maul.
The secret to getting comfortable on an Arione is to (a) get it nearly perfectly level, (b) set the fore-aft position so you can feel the pressure of the flex wings right about where your upper thighs becomes your butt, (c) ride in a fairly aggressive (low) upper body posture, and (d) have a fairly narrow pelvis. I love mine.
