Probably a ball bearing rolling into a groove. Trust me, the indexing is
extremely vague. Nevertheless, it works.

Smallest Superbes were made in 21", I believe. This '69 is an example of one. You'd probably be better off with one of the smaller, silver, men's 19.5's from 1973-6 (IIRC) and fitting it out with Superbe bits.
