This is sort of what I envision for wheels, except not such a wide colored sidewall. These are old concave Weinmann wheels which would pr-date your bike by a long shot. This is Drillium Dudes bike, BTW.



Just as everyone has mentioned, it is a great looking bike. I'm just throwing out my own thoughts. If I had the money to build a bike like that, I would do the same thing that you have done, with the exception of finding a good black wheel.
