I spent a lot of time test riding bikes a few years ago. I tried alot. Going in, I planned on buying a CF/Ti combo - Seven Elium, Serotta Ottrott, Merlin (forgot the name). I was surprised at the soft sensation of the ride - seemed like the combo brought out the worse in bothe materials instead of the better. I ended up with a straight Ti bike.
