In my somewhat limited experience the advantages of BB30 configurations are largely t
Last year I was sent two BB30 frames and neither was within spec. For example, the ID on the drive side varied by as much as 0.45mm and the ID on the non-drive side varied by as much as 0.37mm. The bearing fit was not a press fit and the bearings could be inserted by hand. On one frame one would actually fall out if the frame was turned upside down!

Amazing how `new and improved` often turns out to be `new and even more expensive`.
And -no - those weren`t dime store frames. They were custom made titanium. Think I`ll stick with square tapered axles and loose bearings myself for a while longer.
