Since my last spare Ergo group flew the coop a week ago, I resolved that my recently-acquired Match Paramount (thanks WJV!) would be the recipient of a roughly classic, moderately vintage, somewhat inexpensive group of approximately lightweight components that shall be classified as
resembling a weight weenie build.
I don't have too many lightweight components to show for at the moment (though I guarantee you that the present build is quite light

), though
I just won a Huret Jubilee RD on eBay with a Campag-specific stop - in other words, the worst is over.
The Record 10-speed crankset and BB are parts-bin items, and I can't tell you how much it ticks me off that Campagnolo offers their BB in 102mm and nothing else (except for 111mm) - sure enough, the inner ring had no more than 2mm of clearance. A spacer solved this, though spacers aren't my thing.
Proposed build is as follows (and I don't have anything listed, hence, I'm open for trades):
-Campagnolo 10-speed Record FD
-CLB sidepull brake calipers (whichever model is light and presents itself first)
-Mafac plastic, Modolo Kronos, or CLB brake levers
-Nuovo Record downtube shifters (anything interesting in the Drillum Dude department?)
-ZOOM steel handlebar stem, 250g (got it) + 3TTT handlebar
-Headset unknown; has part of a Ritchey on it; would be nice to put it back together
-Unknown wheelset - though the GP-4 tubulars on it are light as heck
-Either an aluminum-body FW or aluminum cogs
-Got a gold KMC lightened chain, used; don't know if it's worn too much or not.
...and finally:
Not for lightness, just for looks
