Yep, I got them for several reasons, first they are cheaper to outfit than drop bars(due to using the components that were on the flat bar) while offering more hand positions. I do find that I can rest my arms on the lower bar while holding onto the upper bar giving a similar effect to the drops though. The other is that I wanted the bars shifted back so I could have a little bit more up-right riding position that is more comfortable for me.
