I just feel that the yellow jersey is so tied to the leader in the TDF and to Lance that wearing it is a bit pretentious. I realize that this is mostly in my mind and that most others probably don't see it this way. I try not to judge others this way and see them as people who just like the color.

My most common outfit is black shorts and a Nashbar hi-viz sleeveless jersey. On my big body, it makes me look kind-of like a giant tennis ball. This accomplishes the most important function of my riding apparel: It makes motorists think "Oh $#!T! I don't want to hit that. It'll mess up my car."
