I'm pretty sure you have carbon blades on your fork, and the blades make the big difference. Can you verify that the blades are aluminum?

Dropouts don't make a difference.

Tires (pressure and brand) and bars can contribute a lot to road buzz. I found my Cannondale (with a tapered steerer tube, carbon blades) to be a nice combination of rigidity and comfort.
