you can do whatever you want. i personally don't ride brakeless. i don't like the added wear it puts on my drivetrain and tires. i also don't like the added effort. howeveer, i've ridden with people who are perfectly good at riding brakeless. learn the basics of skid stops and slowing yourself down on a big hill. then go do whatever the eff you want. as long as you aren't putting everyone in danger on the road because you can't stop, why the eff should anyone care what you do?
