A couple more words on aero modifications to NR levers: today I took my PEKA out a ride. I stopped at a tiny lbs that only does frames and parts. The shop owner is a nice guy who is a specialist in competion bikes and he is in business for decades. We discussed the PEKA and of course the routing. He told me that later there were NR levers modified to aero-spec in another way than mine. There was a hole drilled in the front of the lever and that was were the cablehead sat fitted. Externally. This was an improvement in feel over how my levers were modified. Less spongy. I can confirm my brakes feel kinda spongy, but stopping power is okay given my riding and weight.
