why should I feel obligated to support my LBS? They do the same thing i can do. order the damn parts online!

On a serious note, I try my best to actually support my LBS as much as i can, but I find it harder and harder to do so, as I can buy virtually anything online almost half the price.

However, I did have cases where my LBS saved my bike, when i had messed it up, so hats of to the LBS. [I also have the option of fitting, trying or touching the things I before i buy. That's not possible on the virtual interwebs]
