I have an 800 and like it. You can get a lot of info on the Garmin 800 forum too. Just bear in mind that the forum is the place where all the complaints are aired out. I found one error in the instructions that I got cleared up with the forum. Its easy to use even for a non computer person like me. My old garmin was the 308 forerunner and it was a great unit and completely trouble free till it fell off the bike and got run over by a SUV's tire, which is why i made the upgrade.
