Whoooo Wheeee Man Boy - all these suggestions. I'll give you a little more information that you may not be lookking for. last year I wanted a new bike, looked at many different brands (and rode). Narrowed it down to a couple. In the Cannondale line i rode the CAAD 9, Synapse, and the SuperSix. liked the snyapse real well, like the one responder said great for a long cruise. The Synapse is described as a plush road bike and I wasn't wanting a plush road bike. i was looking for quick, agile, light, stiff, and a bike I could ride hard and fast. To me that narrowed it to the 9 and the SS. Riding both i felt both had a number of the handling properties but the SS was more fun, lighter, faster, and genrally better (for me). so i pulled the trigger on the SS. I have not looked back. i can ride with the gang in my area and the bike is more than fine for fast and long or maybe fast long rides. Do it - you'll be happy in the end.
