June, 1987. Although 1987 was the first year for Prologue production, it didn't appear in the catalog until 1988 with the following comment in the '88 catalog:

"Prologue - a 1987 World Champion in its very first year. An eloquent complement to the craftsmanship and precision of the Paramount line."
