Let us know here how the Left Banks work out for you. I'm curious since most folks that get this bar style are more worried about hand position and looks than stiffness when putting the hammer down.

Personally I think I'd pay the 1/4 lb weight penalty for the steel, but light is nice when you can get it.

I wish someone would recreate the bars on my Western Flyer. They're like a compact cruiser style, a bit of a mix between the porteur and cruiser style maybe. They have a flare like cruiser bars, but are only 23" wide, have a 3" rise, are steel and mighty stiff.
