Not sure, I don't really get it either. Some of them would tell you the sleeveless tri-jerseys allow you swim uninhibited. I don't understand how the arm warmers fit into that excuse though. Unless I'm actually at a race, I will just wear a regular cycling jersey when I'm out on my bike.
