When exactly is L'Eroica? A good time to do a local alternative would be exactly the same time. But that's some time away, so I'll worry about the more immediate future for now.

If we (okay, if I) organize something for June, who's up for it? I am thinking, tentatively:

--It takes most of a weekend: we gather Friday evening; ride Saturday; depart Sunday.

--We have a promising invitation in the Catskil mountains of New York State, which is fairly central to the North Eastern US.

--The second weekend in June is no good for me, but the others have potential.

--The actual ride would be determined by numbers. I, personally, would want to ride a century or double metric century, but if that's just me, well, that's just me.

--If my description is vague, well, there's good reason for that! detail will follow once I have an idea of how many people are interested.

So... who's interested, for something, as described?
