I've seen someone else use one of these adapters and it worked fine on an old Varsity fixed gear build. I'm not a big fan of one piece cranks on fixed gears cause I can never get the cone nut tight enough on the sprocket and it moves. I was going to pick up one for a ss mtb project since their cheap enough.
