I've had Miche Hubs for years with no problems except for the occasional loosening of the cones which is normal after a few years. I agree that these are the nicest part of the group. As far as comparing to Surly, they are 10x better in my opinion, especially the cogs.

The BB is not good though in my opinion. Creaking and Loosening within months of installation. I've heard from many others of similar problems, even a couple people who had them crack on them. I have been riding a Campy (111mm) BB with my Miche Crankset.

I've had several chains over the years, and although the Miche one is a good value it is a little creaky at times...Not as quiet as some of the other chains I've used (Like the Wipperman Track Chain for example).

I love the seatpost, but the length is too short for me. 250mm is pretty short.

I ride threadless, so I've never done much with the headset.
