There are two different formulations of HEET. The red bottle is isopropyl the yellow bottle is methanol. Here is a link to the
list of the various fuels that can be used in an alcohol stove.
I typically use denatured alcohol, but will use the yellow bottle HEET if I cannot find what I need.
